Since 2011, Micheldever Fleet Solutions has been the trusted partner for a diverse array of fleets within a wide range of industries, including utilities services, military, car hire, the emergency services and corporate fleets.

Who We Are
We’re part of Micheldever Tyre Services (MTS), giving us access to a UK stockholding of over 1.3 million tyres. Through our group links to Protyre Autocare and our approved MFS fitting network of quality independent garages, we have over 300 primary fitting locations, supported by a further 1,800 reserve fitting locations, providing a nationwide network of professionals to support your every need.
We’re owned by Sumitomo Rubber Industries, manufacturer of Dunlop, Falken and Sumitomo tyres, and one of the largest tyre manufacturers in the world, providing us with unrivalled tyre expertise.
We’re proud that globally our SENSING CORE Tyre Sensing Technology won the prestigious Tyre Technology of the Year Award at the 2019 Tyre Technology International Awards for Innovation and Excellence. SENSING CORE is a groundbreaking technology concept for the automotive industry, that obtains data from vehicle onboard systems to accurately detect tyre pressures, wear, load and road conditions. SENSING CORE is currently being tested with several fleets, and we hope to bring SENSING CORE to our UK fleet customers very soon!
Sumitomo Rubber Industries has also been awarded ‘Environmental Achievement of the Year – Manufacturing’ at the 2024 Tire Technology International Awards for Innovation and Excellence, R&D Breakthrough of the Year in 2025, and Tire Technology of the Year 2022.
Our strong group connections within our own global business, along with key suppliers, brands and network partners, enable us to support our customers with the highest level of UK-wide service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

We have exclusive distribution agreements with several prestigious performance brands such as GT Radial, Petlas, Toyo, Fulda, General Tire and BF Goodrich.

Peter Gittens
Head of MFS & National Accounts
Pete’s career in the automotive industry spans roles with Goodyear UK and Group Tyre, before he joined Micheldever in 2009. He has held various positions as part of our senior leadership team and has led Micheldever Fleet Solutions for over three years. Pete brings a wealth of experience in the tyre industry and is passionate about providing exceptional customer service, innovation and added value solutions to the UK’s fleet operators.
Andrew Williamson
National Account Sales Manager
Andy has over 25 years of experience in the tyre industry within sales, sales management and brand management roles. He joined Micheldever six years ago, and as our National Account Sales Manager he is responsible for national wholesale accounts such as Halfords Group, ATS and Formula 1, as well as national fleet accounts such as Northgate and Enterprise.
Peter Thompson
National Account Manager
Peter has worked for Micheldever since 2019, following 15 years in truck tyre sales and retail operations. As MFS National Account manager, he looks after our fleet sales, bids and tenders, as well as our 24-hour service offer, roadside assistance, critical fleet, truck and technical. His customers include national fleets in the FN50, utilities, vehicle hire, home delivery, National Grid and blue light sectors.
Steve Mann
National Accounts Manager
Steve brings over 20 years of experience in solution‑based, consultative sales environments, successfully delivering tailored commercial solutions across complex customer requirements. His career includes 10 years in transport and logistics across the UK and Canada, where he provided international freight services, 3PL and 4PL solutions, dedicated delivery models and pallet and parcel distribution. During this time, Steve also worked with DHL (Gerlach Customs), supporting clients with cross‑border logistics and customs expertise. In addition, Steve has 1.5 years of experience with Tructyre and ATS Euromaster, working with both HGV and LCV fleets, FN50 leasing providers, and collaborating with leading tyre manufacturers including Michelin, Pirelli, and Hankook on joint bids, tenders, and strategic partnership opportunities.
Russell Barratt
National Accounts Manager
Russell brings 22 years of experience within the tyre industry, combining extensive product knowledge with strong commercial expertise. He spent 13 years at Yokohama as a Key Account Manager, where he built long‑term customer relationships, managed major national accounts, and delivered strategic growth across multiple regions. Russell then spent 9 years at Micheldever as an Area Sales Manager, successfully growing existing business while recruiting and developing new dealers for the company’s portfolio of house brands.
Jenny Santoriello
Operations Support Manager
Jenny has been our Operations Manager since 2011, following a career in the fleet finance sector with Lombard. She works with the team to maintain the smooth running of our infrastructure, IT and day-to-day operations.
Jade Lee
Operations Support Co-Ordinator
Jade has worked in administration and customer service roles throughout her career and first joined Micheldever in 2019 as part of our Vehicle Main Agent department. After a career break in 2022 to go travelling, she rejoined the business as part of Micheldever Fleet Solutions. Jade looks after the day-to-day operations and reporting of our fleet customers and fitter network.
Steve Atkinson
Senior MFS Fleet Co-Ordinator
Steve started his journey with us in 2007, working at one of our Protyre Autocare centres as a tyre fitter, before being promoted to assistant manager and then centre manager. He joined MFS in 2024 as Senior MFS Fleet Co-ordinator.
Kate Edwards
MFS Fleet Co-ordinator
Kate joined the Protyre family in 2016 as retail sales assistant at Wilmslow Performance Tyres. She was promoted to assistant manager in 2018, then joined MFS in 2024. Her role involves allocating tyres and SMR jobs into the Protyre Autocare centres and supporting the branches when required.
Danielle Leatham
National Account Manager
Danni joined Micheldever back in 2016 with experience across a number of sales and customer service roles. Danni initially joined Micheldever’s B2B customer service team as an Account Manager, before quickly moving into National Accounts as National Account Manager. Danni is a crucial part of the MFS and National Accounts customer service team and she has extensive experience of supporting our National and Fleet customers.
Janine Callander
MFS Fleet Co-ordinator
Janine joined MTS in 2014, bringing with her extensive experience in sales and customer service. She has been a valuable member of the B2B Account Management team and now leverages her expertise in her current role at MFS, supporting our national and fleet customers.
Alex McAliece
MFS Fleet Co-ordinator
Alex began his career with Chemix at the age of 21, initially working in sales before progressing into a management role. Following the acquisition by Protyre, he continued to grow within the business. Over the course of 17 years, Alex has built extensive experience across both Chemix Autocentres and Protyre. In 2020, he transitioned into a Retail Support position, and he has now embarked on the next stage of his career with MFS.
